Transgenderism is a legitimate point of debate whether you like it or not, and it's idiotic, morally repugnant, and outside the boundaries of your jurisdiction as a mod to delete a thread about it. Also Sonseray please link me the South Park clip
I'm still of the mind that people are either male or female, though if they feel that they would like to make the change then whatever. They just assume the gender of which they fall under in doing so.
i feel like the bigger picture issue here is correcting the "gender is binary" myth and when that happens something like transgenderism is theoretically a lot more palatable to people who would otherwise be up in arms over it

It doesn't matter. "Male" and "female" have typically been used as simple labels for people who have particular sets of traits. If the meanings of those words begin to change then w/e

It was more to explain why I moved the thread and why sonseray got suspended. It wasn't a violation of US law obviously, but my decision was based on the tidbit where hatespeech is something that "disparages or intimidates" a certain individual or group, which falls in line with the site definition of hateful comments.
