Saying that you think people are lesser beings than you based on their "personal circumstances", is by site definition, a pretty hateful comment.

peta's right. as for my pov: nature doesn't insist on us being anything. 'man' and 'woman' are pretty much just labels applied by us. if someone has a psychological hangup about their gender, and what they're asking for isn't ridiculous, what's the problem playing by their rules?
