That's not what I said. It's not about forcing them to believe or not believe anything.
There's a button in front of you. If you push it, all muslims across thew world will instantly stop believing in Islam and the Quran and instead embrace rational thinking and logic in determining their beliefs.
Especially considering that we westerners have been conditioned to dislike and distrust Muslims and Islam "because we're at war with them". Not even sure why people are having this discussion without understanding why we're at odds in the first place.

Yeah sorry you are wrong. I'm an atheist, in case you didn't notice. I share the same animosity towards Christianity as I do to Islam. It's just that Islam seems to be a more dangerous ideology and it's also the current topic.
what gives you the right to make that judgement? I'm an atheist, more specifically, an apatheist, but that doesn't give me the right to keep others from believing in whatever it is they believe in. if you do that, you are doing exactly what other religions do, and that is trying to push your belief that there is no god on others.

i'm actually not sure what teachings you're talking about, and who the mass-murdering pedophile polygynist is, but in the case that you were talking about islam, what i was trying to say is that you shouldn't invalidate a religion that can be good just bc it was preached/created (not sure which bc i stil have no idea who you're talking about) by someone who was bad. it wasnt an attack chill

Every "religion" has been used to weaponize people, however weaponization of people is not the core of religion. Taking God away from people so that "god" can't be used against people wont actually solve your problem.
How can that possibly be the conclusion you've drawn about his posts?

Well you called me stupid for saying I want to eradicate Islam. I guess my question is, why wouldn't you want to? Unless you're a Muslim I can't see how you think that these billion people following all these writings from an imaginary God is a good thing for the world. Giving women no rights, wrapping them head to toe in cloth and beating them if they object, stoning gay people and heretics and adulterers, etc.
Wouldn't you stop all of them believing this nonsense if you somehow had the chance?

Probably because nobody actually follows "Animism" as it's a blanket term for thousands of different religions.
