you're incredibly, incredibly naive, but that isn't the worst thing for a 17 year old internet user to be. i don't think anyone thinks you have anything but the best intentions but you have absolutely no idea how to effectively get what you want. your idealism shines through because you haven't had it snuffed out of you yet; everyone thinks they can change the world and almost everyone is wrong about it. that said, you seem like you have a sturdy head on your shoulders, you roll with the punches well, and you have a disposition that either already translates well to the real world or will translate well to the real world once you go away to college and get out of your own head; in either case the facts are the same. i think you're definitely more a follower than a leader, and in the situations ive seen you put in in which you had to take a leading stance you pulled the internet equivalent of mumbling and staring at the ground, but that's not even an insult, because not everyone can be a leader

i take issue w/ this scale, because a) in-n-out is wildly overrated and b) i've had a taco bell renaissance of sorts w/ the breakfast menu. i mean, there are only like 3 edible things on the entire menu, but they're all quality fast food items. i guess, what i'm saying is, on the scale of fast food joints you're probably burger king. you know, because burger king is aware of what its tangible assets as a fast food institution are, but still needs to blatantly coattail ride mcdonalds in an effort to overcome it's deficiencies. you have one majorly bankable asset (brains:burgers) that you've relied heavily on because a) most people are dumb and easily outsmartable b) people readily identify it and use it to define you and c) there's been little incentive to change and grow because it's working. except now its the new millennium and this is the fast food big leagues and all of the sudden talking about yourself/your burgers isn't gonna cut it anymore, and the best way to grow as a business/person is to identify the traits of other businesses/people that are succeeding and try to make them your own. sometimes it works, and you get the tendercrisp bacon cheddar ranch, and everyone is happy for a while, but other times your branding choices are painfully obtuse, like those gross chicken fries, and you alienate your customer base due to your complete and abject inability to adapt all facets of your personality to "high-functioning, consistently-interesting fast food restaurant/human being". but you're burger king, it's not like you're going out of business. you'll just have to step on some toes while you fumble around as a hyperintelligent version of the retti that everyone makes fun of until you get there.
i don't mind if it wasn't helpful and constructive, i actually laughed at how accurate it was.

youre probably the hardest one for me to do in this topic tbh, because i have a generally high opinion of you and yet find you constantly frustrating at the same time. i think you're one of the rare people on this site who doesn't want attention, which is both refreshing and a little offputting. you used to be really really terrible at striking the balance between tryharding and lowefforting but it seems like you're getting better at it. in a weird twist of fate, you're the guy that people who are paying attention always think deserves more credit, except that so many people have noticed and brought it up that you almost get too much credit sometimes as an overcorrection.
