Site to be shut down

adminabout 12 years ago

Unfortunately, Google decided to shut down the Adsense anyhow. I've asked for an appeal, but if they do not reply by the end of the month, I will be shutting down the site. Thanks for the good times, but I suppose it's time for me to move on.

Dude $80 a month for EM is more than the cost of the internet per month.

I would probably never pay to play this game
AdrenalineMimeabout 12 years ago
can u at least keep the forums alive so we can keep the community alive and play forum mafia? the forums should be really cheap to pay for, compared to the games

one time payment is not enough. No new users will join. People pay only after they get to a particular point. Once people can't get out of here they will pay. I think I can pay $80 per month easily. If more is required then let us know.
A lot of people can't and/or isn't going to pay 80/month
It is less than the amount you spend on travelling to school.

I hope Riot's happy. He literally out of his way to ruin a site for thousands of people just because he's upset.

I would like to be an EM shareholder.

We need to advertise! Get some commercials on TV.

I think I'm done for the time being. CYA.
Stevenabout 12 years ago
Any sort of obligatory payment would kill the site. Donations are the only possible alternative and that likely won't be a secure stable form of income for lucid, so it's risky

if there was a monthly payment, the site would quickly become dead. how profitable is it to make it a one time payment?

@runwithfire the more submissions might get google to look into it faster and with more mercy

In all seriousness though, thanks to everyone that contributed to this site, whether it have been in a good way or a bad way. Even you, pranay has made this site way less boring that it could have been. I am glad to have met the people that I have here on EpicMafia and I wish you all the best as you move on with your lives. Thanks again, Lucid.
not over yet. stop it.
