Unfortunately, Google decided to shut down the Adsense anyhow. I've asked for an appeal, but if they do not reply by the end of the month, I will be shutting down the site. Thanks for the good times, but I suppose it's time for me to move on.
I think Lucid is just tired of running this site in all honestly this is just a good excuse to call it over. You can tell this site has run its course. Even with donations I think it is more the principal of not wanting to beat dead horse and let it die gracefully.
Honestly though the appeal is not going to work imo. Look at the content of the basis of this site. It is all against the TOS. If no one reported us then it would never really come up as an issue since EM is a relatively small site but appealing once they find EM at fault is most likely not going to work.
Kinda curious how much does it cost to support the site and if we stripped higher bandwidth places (ie no logs over a week), ie no forums, no game logs over a week.How much would it cost.
If you can get it down to a decent cost, donations could probably support it. Unless Lucid is doing this for $$$ in which case that wouldn't work.
One of my old sites costed around 250/Month which was stripped down to around 125/Month which was easier to recover and then given away to the community.
