We are looking for suggestions for new roles that should be added to epicmafia, be creative and try to come up with ideas of roles that aren't similar with the ones we already have.
The best 2 ideas will be picked and lucid was thinking about rewarding those who came up with the ones that are going to be selected.
Gives a working knife to a non-mafia member once per night. The knife will not kill a mafia member (stabbing message will show but no death from bleeding). Knife can kill villagers and thirds. Knife has 50% chance of revealing, 50% chance of being anonymous. Attends Mafia meetings. Sided with the Mafia
I think there should be a Librarian that actually joins the mafia meeting.
Library mechanic is fun for sandbox, but after the Librarian's one use he can't kill and doesn't join with mafia, making it really boring and hard to balance. Let the Librarian join the mafia imo.
Partysmith: Is present with party host present. Gives gun every night leading up to party. Recipients will not learn about their guns until the party starts. Guns can only be used during the party. After the party is blue. Sided with the village.
Hypnotist: Sided with the mafia. Chooses one person to "hypnotize" and one person to visit. The hypnotized person will forced to visit the person selected by the hypnotist. Hypnotist only visits the hypnotized. If the hypnotist is visited, the trance will be broken and the person will not be hypnotized.
Pimp: Sided with the mafia. Can seduce any of the female town roles (virgin, secretary, granny, etc.) to become a hooker. The third party women are strong and independent and don't need no man. They will permanently disable the pimp's power of seduction.
And finally, a more novelty role.
Apocalyptist: Third Party. Has a nuclear bomb they can use once. Every night can choose to set their bomb off at the start of the day. Can also set it off anytime during the day. If they set their bomb off, everyone in the town not protected dies - including the bomber. Anyone protected will not die. The bomber must ensure he's protected (and will not be killed by bomb, etc.) before setting his bomb off. Wins if they are the only person alive after setting off their bomb.
Target Once per game, can activate his ability at night If his ability is activated, the mafia's kill visit will be redirected to him If using his ability, he cannot be protected by a doctor or a bodyguard, and he discards any vests and crystals he owns Does not work if mafia doesn't kill Sided with the village
Undertaker Once per game during the day, can decide to hide the lynchee's belongings The person being lynched that day will not reveal his role. Sided with the mafia
Rioter Can decide to riot at night If rioting, everyone is roleblocked, except for the mafia kill If rioting, Rioter becomes naked the following day Sided with the mafia
If the corpse belong to deputy/sniper/sheriff/tinker Grave Robber receives a gun.
