Re-revised fool training with better balance.

>better balance
>blu win rate: 14%

It doesn't make any sense. Objectively, a vigil is better than a blue. Maybe people just haven't gotten used to it yet.

Vigils are better than blues, but training lobby vigils are perhaps not

This is a TERRIBLE setup for new players. It shouldn't be in a "training" lobby because it requires advanced play from both sides (joint wins, no shooting night 1 from vig, instant lylo due to joint win). It has such a low town win rate because new players don't understand these things...
over 13 years
The current fool setup has joint wins and instant lylo, and other training setups have vig no-shooting. It's not adding anything to Training that isn't already there.
over 13 years
Then it shouldn't be ranked because it's incredibly unbalanced. Whether its due to new players or not, unbalanced setups shouldnt be ranked.
over 13 years
It already has better statistical balance than the original Fool Training, which is not only ranked, but the highest-rated setup in the lobby.

Still lacks something. Conrad, would you help me in making the perfect Fool Training setup? This is my attempt: http://www.epicmafia.com/setup/292706

why no strategies for this setup?

Now THIS is the real fool training.
over 13 years
worst setup ever for training for 2 reasons
1. mafia can't hide behind blues
2.anytime i played it in training vig shot and changed an autowin to a lose anytime i played it anytime.
anyway i think it is a good creature

Noob vigils aren't inherently a flaw of the setup. In fact, if they shoot and lose they'll learn not to again and that's the whole point of training.

Anyway, I've thought of remaking this setup with tracker instead of cop to take advantage of the fool's visits.

no noob learn there i had 3 loses just for one person
2 times he was vig
one time we had autowin i knew if i tell him don't shoot he will shoot so gave him someone for shoot then can you imagine what happend? he shot doc and in day said no he was obv mafia you were wrong

That doesn't solve anything. Fool would just visit no one, like he should always do.

yeah visit no one, claim tracker, and say "i have nv on my cc he is fool."
over 13 years
fool will claim tracker anyway np who to visit

here is training let noobs have fun shoot n1 you have 44% chance to shoot a mafia/fool
so let you make your chance :)

This setup is good, as long as fool isn't townsided. Lost many games because fool is townsided when it should have been autowin for maf/fool.

v "This setup is good". You were wrong right there.
about 13 years
the setup itself is terrible, but it does a really good job at teaching people how the fool works, which is the goal of the setup in the first place

i hate this setup in ranked/. idiotic mafia turn autowin d2s into autolose.... &%$$ing idiots.

This setup is best, i love it, its not like in classic mafia, where the maf and the prs do the stuff alone and the blues stand around and listen and vote with one of them, you could be whispered as cops inno or docs saved and get a trustworthy guy to claim to etc. i hate being blue at classic mafia, but its okay at this setup.
