Much better than I expected when I saw it was called gambler! :3 Very nice idea, the only thing that I worry about is gunning a monk... but that hopefully happens rarely enough that it's no problem. Plussed!

I prefer the name spectator but anyways plussed.

Some advice that's not 200 wordslong lol, okay maybe xD, sometimes adding too much to a role makes it too complicated, such as the giving a gift to the side he think'll win, is it really that necessary? It's your role, you can do what you want with it, but I think this would be a better role.
Third Party
At any point in the game the Gambler can choose which side he'll think will win
For each day the Gambler doesn't choose, he'll receive a gift
Dies once predicting the winning party
Wins if the party he predicts will win wins.

In either case, the knowing of all the roles is too OP imo. Good job with this role, if you don't take that idea up there I might take it and tweak it more lol.

@Amish, thanks for pointing that out, changed it to him living one day after he chooses.

does he die and not get to use his gun? it seems pointless for him to get a gun if he dies before he can use it?

@Jam

Ok, see what you are saying, decided to change it a bit.

I like the idea of him dying after choosing who he think's will win. Make it so he doesn't have to choose night 1, making it so he can wait as long as he can until he's certain about who'll win. Yes, he may die in the meanwhile, but he's taking risks- he's gambling. Had he choose to gamble n1, it's essentially a 33% shot he'll win, and with him out of the game it's only 1 third party (closed setups situation), meaning it's likely town or maf win (50/50). Also, make it so he gets an item each day he goes without choosing who'll win, maybe each time getting better so he can WAIT for that gun, therefore gambling (bread, crystal, vest, gun). Just my input, I think it could be a really good role, but in as of now, the name isn't really fitting, because he's not really gambling, he's just choosing who he'll think win. In short- if you don't wanna read this all, I don't think the losing the vote thing is a good idea. Good idea whichever way you choose to put the role :D

Had he chosen he bet the village win: His vote would no longer count, therefore increasing the mafia's power, making it likely he'll lose.
Had he chosen he bet the mafia win: That makes him a fourth (in most cases) mafia, making the mafia too strong, and making him almost definitely win.
Had he chosen third party: Assuming this role is third party, he has very small chances of winning, doesn't really effect the game, unless he's town, in that case he'd be screwing over the town.
I'm not saying it's a bad role- I have a lot of roles that need tweaking. This role could have great potential if it were tweaked some more, the vote thing seems too overpowered/underpowered depending on situations. For example, had he bet town would win- it's him, a cop, and a mafia. His vote doesn't count, mafia forces NL and win, town and gambler BOTH lose, thanks to him. Yes, he'll be likely to win if he chose mafia in this situation, but in most situations this would be too overpowered.

Changed it to having it's vote not count so that way it doesn't alter votes, I mean because who wants to be a role that dies day 1?
over 14 years
I don't agree with the fact that he should die, I think lava made him so he COULD alter the votes, what's the point of getting a vest/gun etc. if you can't even use them?
over 14 years
I like the idea but I feel like it could effect the votes. I think the gambler should probably be dead too after he gives his gifts.

I feel this is more just choose your alignment.

You should add some plus for choosing an alignment.

Such as:

Village:Unable to be converted, or learn one town role
Mafia: Receive a Vest
Third Party: Receive a Gun
No one: Receive a Bread

Also i think this would be considered a 4th party role.

The only thing is I would have him die after choosing on n1. If he stays around he could easily alter the course of the game.
