CannibaI
  • Third Party
  • At night, all Cannibals meet, and then decide someone to kill. (Majority vote wins)
  • Target person will be killed.
  • If successfully killed, the targets name and role will not be displayed.
  • If the group/solo fails to kill once, a random cannibal dies instead (If a cannibal dies this way, they are not revealed. Similar to how they kill)
  • Wins if Cannibals outnumber other roles.
  • Can survive famines.
  • "A mutilated corpse has been found!"

@nevan it could just not show role. because they were eaten and shit.

I don't understand how someone can die without their name showing up. That person would be moved to the graveyard, and the town could just remember who was there and who isn't anymore. This is just a 3rd party jan.

@Robert / Lullu. The point of this is for doctors and such.

Robert is right, they would just agree in meeting.

this is cool +'d

This doesn't really seem like a viable role to play against. I mean, i'm all for it being in games in sandbox I just don't see a good way to balance and why cannibals would argue if they would be fighting for the same victory. A night meeting gives them time to discuss it all.

Edited to remove the conversion

I like everything before and not including the conversion thing.

Aye, Werewolves and other seemingly simple roles have a lot of indepth interaction, Did you know An invul WW cannot be zombified?
over 14 years
I like it, I don't think playing the role will be as complicated as it might seem on paper, you just have all the details on this.
over 14 years
like the idea!

The part about the name not appear just adds to the flavour of the whole "Cannibalism" thing. But I can see how it is unnecsessary. Also, does anyone else think I should tone down the complexity of the role, just as Helpfulcomments suggested?
over 14 years
I really like this, but I think it should be toned down just a bit.

I think the part with the cops needs to go-if investigated, no matter what, they show up as inno/third party.
The baker thing might go as well.

Has a group meeting, they all vote on a kill, if the kill fails, a random cannibal dies. That in itself is a pretty good role.

Also, userdoesnotexist has a valid point- what do you mean, the target's name and role will not be displayed? They just...disappear? I'd understand if the role wasn't displayed, like, they appear janned, or there's some message like "X has died a bloody death, and there are no remains left to bury!" Town is going to know WHO died because they'd be missing.

The name not showing up doesn't really matter, because they'd notice that someone was missing, but I see how it adds to the whole cannibal thing.

XD Reminds me of good times

These guys should be called the Reavers... They rape, kill and cannibalize at the saem time. D;

An unnecessary role. With zombies, werewolfs, and cult, we don't need another 3rd party team that kills/converts at night.

Alright, I'll ceede you that point Jamb.

nah, even tho it appears guilty when killed, mimic mimicing should result in turning into amnesiac, just like every other third party role... you are making it too complicated, keep it SIMPLE
almost 15 years
It wouldn't matter if the targets name is shown or not, Town could look back at previous days and easily figure out who died.
almost 15 years
@Phantom, depends if they killed that night or not. If they did, Amn. If not, Blue.
almost 15 years
For mimic would the mimic be an amn or blue? Plussed
almost 15 years
Nice idea, plussed.

Simplicity is best when making roles. In this case adding more is adding less. IE: Make your roles short and sweet cause people dont want a 50 page essay about some stupid ass role that will be more annoying that fun

What makes it too confusing?
