ITT everything gym-related. Post your lifts and workout pics, gym stories, etc.
I'm aware 90% of EM users are degenerate potheads but it's never too late to put down the weed bong and pick up the dumbbells. If any of you are interested in getting into weightlifting and have questions about anything hmu on Skype @ Antithesis91. I'm actually very nice.
What else you do for back day? Pull-ups and chin-ups are a must ofc but my fave part of back day are bent-over rows.
usually in order a back workout will go 1. pull ups, 2. close/wide grip cable rows, into close / wide lat pull downs, followed by dumbell rows and then MAYBE i'll hit t bar rows
i drop set the last set to 1/2 your max for a nice burn at the end of each exercise
Antidote, can you teach me how to do push ups correctly?
Push ups are the poor man's bench press.
Obviously bench press is going to be better in terms of isolation, but push-ups are still on par because of the way they work lots of muscle groups - like you get core hips back body stabilisation on top of upper body. Also the amount of variation you can have within the one excercise is ridiculous. Also push-ups are fantastic for defined muscle over an absolute bulk strength gain (which is what I go for).

Lol, not really. Push ups are actually a really good excercise, especially for people who can't/don't want to risk injury. I have a up right elbow and left knee, so maxing out bench press and squats is out of the question for me.
As for my "achievments", idk. I think I'm kinda proud of learning how to do muscle ups(3 atm).
Apart from that, I think I'm decent at pull ups and push ups - didn't really test my max but can do about 30 pull ups and 90 push ups no problem.
I don't overdo my leg days cause I'm scared I injure both knees, but I try not to look like a carrot.
Also if you have any tips how to eat clean but don't starve feel free to share, I'm never tired of good recipes.
Weighted chin ups (what I'm doing in the pic) are amazing, the next day your back will fee huge, I actually just bought that bet last Monday and have used it before every workout
Wide grip Pull ups + dips
Then the next day I do mid grip + dips and then close grip plus dips
Yeah... a lot of dips for the tris lol
And Nah Don it's 10 months, I've just got ready good genetics and got lucky I guess

all the exercises are focused on legs since that's the most important focus for rowing. i might do some more arm related gains at some point
Makes sense, tho chin ups aint legs. If you wanna hit back do pull ups instead of chin ups. Isolates your back better than chin ups which hit your biceps.
i actually have a really fast metbalosim so I don't get fat ever. but I still like to work out because it makes me feel gucci. I like going to the gym because i like looking at ugly people working hard to be gucci like me

i've found that when im working out particularly hard, (in particular either lifting or doing cardio) i get terrible chills throughout body and i haven't figured out why, so i'm pretty sure that the gym is eventually going to kill me
This was almost exactly the comment I anticipated when I saw PJM had responded to this thread.
