Everyone wants their role to be added. This isn't for everyone.

While lucid is actually active at present, this thread is for fixing roles and mafia-related features. Improving the game itself is more important than adding a bunch of role clones.

Small suggestion: I think the "You are (role)!" message should appear at the top of Night 1, not at the bottom of the pregame once the game's started.

it should revert mimic and mimicked to their original roles otherwise its not working properly

I suggestion I heard from a user who doesn't play anymore:

Illusionist can use his ability more that once, but only if he's given another gun.

remove mods' +10 vote weight

it's been an annoying and pointless feature for the longest time, obsolete since the ability to hide posts by users through actual mod action

Paramedic - Sided with the town. Picks one player at night and the player is protected the following day. The picked player is protected from shots, knife attacks, voodoo, and lynches. Possibly anarchist explosions as well.


protection from lynches is overpowered but protection from day kills is a good idea

would be good if surgeon did that instead of being an op bg


I completely agree. Surgeon is an OP bg and the reason why I leave it out of my setups. It would be a great idea to fix this role and make it do something like the "Paramedic".

i don't think it's that simple to remove famine mechanic for baker. like what if someone gets converted back to baker? you turn famine back on?


you cant revive a sui/veg baker, that's why it's so gamebreaking

if baker(s) sui/veg, baker is out of play permanently which is why famine shouldnt count

I've always thought self-cheffing is overpowered anyway, why not remove that?


id remove it but that seems like the kind of change people would throw a fit about

insane cop should be immune to cthulhu insanity

just to build some quirky synergy between roles, like drunk and driver or paranoid cop and alien

Can we discuss Cthulhu's win condition? It seems to be a fairly popular role for closed setups, yet it can only win with cult. Could you possibly make it so it wins in a 2way(displaying "cult wins", just as if there was a single cultist won)?


Pretty sure it already works like that


technically cthulhu only wins by 1-way, but that works with its ability to lynch every insane person

cthulhu has a solo wincon which hinges on its ability to make people insane and thereby granting cthulhu full voting power if played right

i think its fine as it is given its not even meant to be a solo role

I've seen cupid not win in games it should have. However, none of these games had no winners.
