Also Ive noticed recently how huge of an advantage people who play with friends have vs people who play alone. You get so much better reads if you keep playing with the same players over and over again.

i feel pretty bad about reading this thread but i do like harry's suggestion of a season-esque thing to epicmafia akin to the way league works -- every year or so all trophies and stats are reset and you start fresh. i think it would promote higher levels of play throughout all levels of mafia (from CM/FP to comp).
