I think you focused mostly on finding mafia in your top 10, I think most of the players(the one I've played with) aren't really that good as mafia alignment.
Maybe I wouldn't call it my top anything, but, in no particular order, here are some players I think have/had good town and maf game: bernin Scholsey hedger Connor(assuming he's that hibiki dude or sth) Harrold(back when he used to be sane)
If I were to make a list of top 10 current players (played within a month) it would probably be something like this.
1. Tatami/Empire 2. Jesusofnazareth 3. Calvin 4. JeffreyAaron 5. Pranay (willing to fight anyone on this one) 6. Soda 7. Giga 8. Cody 9. ThirdAug 10. Private

Mkay I deleted the honorable mentions and replaced Kittykeri for Gira. Kittykeri is definitely top 12 at least though. IIRC her town game was lacking tho and her scum game was ace. Whereas each of the 10 people I listed are ace at both town and scum.

buff and nerf different roles and fix bugs every weeks and compile patch notes to keep the game fresh and frustrating, even.
Anthony Vilden Gerry Soda Apeescaper Private Mapreduce JM123 has consistently played really well over the past few months but could be due to a lack of people playing out all their comp hearts.

From what I've heard Soben was a less idiotic pranay

maxwell and soben were the two best players, and the only ones i ever saw do anything actually interesting in games too
I think the most impressive players are the ones who manages to win a lot alone. Maxwell reminds me of one of those people and damn he was good.

Every player was at one point worthyof making a top 10 list, it's being consistently good that matters

it's not even just reads, it's influence on the game. the reason comp games are harder to win than classic/fp is because the latter are shorter, you're going to be able to exert a more total influence on them. you want people in your games that are going to take you seriously. + good players will carry you if you happen to die too soon
