It's a social norm to not suicide in a game, not out your partners, not to claim virgin as fool, etc.. But none of it is enforced other than being frowned upon and shunned by the community if it is excessive. TheGameGuy is someone that constantly suicides and outs his partners during games and he is definitely shunned but we can still kick people from our games and that is what pretty much every host does with him and people like him.
As the best player ever in Sandbox lobby and ex-Main lobby best player ever, main isn't worth it past 2000 points. You don't even need main for the 2000 points also. Sandbox is way more laid back than main if you're just in Sandbox for the games. But if you get into the Game of Thrones aspect of Sandbox it's a little rough.
mostly it's just a place where people talk a lot in chatbox and play games halfheartedly, have fun w it and don't take it seriously at all tbh.

pretty similar to what jamal said. also because the atmosphere is a lot less competitive. with main lobby if you say the wrong thing you're immediately mafia. there's also the threat of ingame violations. here it's a little looser. sometimes it feels more like a chatroom than a game, but there's just enough elements of a game to usually keep things interesting enough.
Well as the greatest player to ever grace the Sandbox lobby, I feel inclined to be the spokesperson for our lovely lobby. Most of us like the Sandbox lobby because of its relaxed feeling. Less rules, more creativity and possibilities in rolesets, etc.. It's randomized constantly with our setups so it's not so repetitive and it is more challenging with different factors each game.
tl;dr: less rules, randomized roles, not repetitive
