i personally do not believe petri was a creeper pedo because they were in contact with someone who knew i was 15. that doesnt mean there shouldn't be some wariness in the community, and you should take the proper time to address the problem rather than saying the evidence presented is wrong or doesn't matter.

I understand your concern but there is more evidence supporting that she does infact not act upon her "urges"(remember literally no one actually knows 100% if she is a pedophile to begin with, we're just assuming here) and the most contact you will even get with her is verdicts in reports. Literally nothing more.

because as multiple people have explained before, new users tend to look to mods for help and as a role model for appropriate site behavior. personally, i would think a trusting 14 y/o pming a pedophile and becoming friends with them under the pretense that nobody in their right minds would mod someone who wants to screw children would be an abhorrent thought.

Had I not known about some vague Skype logs which occurred 4-5 years prior, then this would not have ever entered my mind. I'm not saying it's moot, I'm just saying that the behaviour she exhibited whilst working under me was by no means threatening. That being said, to answer your question directly, I would have felt distraught.

also, universe, you're asking a minor why we might be offended when a pedophile, someone who has sexual desires for children, is in a position of power.

I kinda agree with you edark about the alleged tendencies not being a valid reason to remove someone. But I think others said she posted it on the site before and exposed other people to it as the reason why she should be barred from modding and I agree w that.

Fair point and I understand that, just like I stated in my post. But as I think its too far to assume guilt when she never had displayed such behaviour.
