At present, there are 20 moderators. Some follow precedent, some don't, but ultimately they all have their own benchmarks for what is or isn't acceptable. As a result, there are far too many flaws within the way this site is handled; from a sheer lack of understanding, to grudge driven decisions, to blindly sheeping one another upon request (this can be highlighted as my appeal has been hand-picked from the open reports and immediately sustained by Totori).
I was going to write up a large OP about this, but quite frankly I'd only be wasting my breath.
Bottom line is quite simply this - a 20 man weeb squad isn't going to bode well when it comes to website moderation.
i totally agree with what retti was saying, IC and HC are no longer about anybody being offended or damage control they're just ways to assert authority over people mods don't like or feel are getting ahead of themselves so this is extremely unsurprising and i wouldn't expect any less
you can tell a mod is auto sustaining an appeal for their mod friend when they 1. pick it out from the middle of the report stack and 2. make no comment on the appeal as to why they sustained it. i don't get this trend of mods not explaining their verdicts, it should be common sense that you explain your reasoning on any verdict, let alone an appeal

*lucid emailed ali just last week saying he got a formal warning from adsense, and basically told her that nothing, not even boardline sexual crap should be posted as it will potentially lead to the removal of the ad program.*
so i tried to get inside the mind of antikrist just now because i'm really curious what it's like in there, and all i saw was that scene in interstellar where matthew mcconaughey is crying having just wasted 20 years of his life and seeing his kids all grown up

One thread talking about things AdSense directly brought up as something they were against was encouraged by the mod team.
how did totori sustain it without seeing evidence of any of the 'inappropriate content' from the thread that was initially deleted. he can't sustain it unless he sees that evidence which is non existent
antikrist made a snap decision to delete the thread and forgot to screenshot it, she also forgot to give any sort of warning or explanation. are mods blind right now? is antikrist just being defended for the fcuk of it? wait are we being trolled? i think we're being trolled dude. there's no way they are defending antikrist on this one

no friggin clue who totori or bae are and they're toxic weeaboo moderators on a website i've loved and adored for 4 1/2 years.
If you can convince me that taking an appeal of her friend's verdict from the middle of the pile, and moving it from open to closed immediately, isn't an auto sustain then you're quite remarkable.
