I am no longer taking a studying break, but let's go anyway.

I mean I don't really watch UFC, nor do I know if you do, but I know enough about it to know that it's going about as well as CM Punk in his fight about a week or so ago.
I've been listening to more hardcore recently. Went to a show last weekend and that's becoming a thing again. The Chariot, Incendiary, old Converge, Trapped Under Ice... the feels.
The career switch and actually being successful with said switch has bolstered my self-confidence professionally. If anyone on here was particularly close to me while I was at my old job, I got to a point where I was doubting my ability and intelligence and was extremely depressed about not advancing, so it's nice to have an affirmation in those things and to be doing well.
Yikes - this question though. I grew up believing that being mixed meant you are black via the one drop rule because at the end of the day if you are going to get into some sh*t, no one is going to say you are mixed, they're going to say you are black unless you are whtie passing then good for you. Now, it seems that mixed people are taking their identity back and just claiming black AND white. It's... not a bad development just an interesting one. Trying to connect and forge an identity with that part of themselves. I guess it would make more sense if they were identifying with it culturally vs just saying that they are white like that makes them better?
Wow, wasn't expecting a serious answer, was mostly posting as a possible joke.
Yeah the change is pretty interesting. I'm mixed but it's very hard to call myself white, however I'd stand out easily amongst a group of Nigerians. There's a lot of big name mixed players in the NBA now like Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Austin Rivers (lol), that are all very tan are very closed in regarding who or what they are. Looking at Austin Rivers you'd have no idea he was mixed with this
All serious all the time, Bumpers. That's what I'm saying! Identify with whatever culturally because that's how you identify with yourself, but to any other person just looking at you, you're black.

What is your honest opinion of me and what is your honest opinion of Tay. Go. Lol
You're pretty okay? You're funny on the forums, and I don't think we've had a bad interaction. Tay, ahhhh. I'm so proud that she has gotten away from this site to focus on herself and has really grown into being an awesome, confident person. We had our differences before, but they were really stupid. She's a good person.
