Women were never "enslaved" by cultural trend or religion. Now if your talking about slavery when you say cultural trend then of course, but then again men were enslaved too and were much more valuable then a women slave. But honestly it doesn't matter about past treatment but the present. Men and women are equal and have been for quite some time now (In the 1st world at least, 3rd world countries are where feminists really need to be). They should be treated equally and fairly as well.
