I'd post a long winded and detailed post with examples but the mods would just dismiss it as Ad lapidem.

I'd vio anyone else who did it in the same context, period. I think Vilden makes badposts but at the end of the day I'm here to have fun on epicmafia.com not ensure others can't have fun. I don't target anyone. An example of this is yesterday I almost didn't sustain the HC vio on Terry despite the fact that Terry is probably the person I complain about most on the site, having thrown against me and being outright racist and misogynist.

you can't break a law expecting to get away with it because someone else implied it was okay or got away with it...
Rules only matter if they're enforced, and when that enforcement is done unevenly, it doesn't exactly fill the userbase with confidence and they're correct to be angry.

Also if they really wanted to get a mod removed or punished it only takes a few emails from a few users or just one from the right user to Lucid. I recall Dave getting removed pretty easily the last time.

i think the problem with that is that when people see how stupid the rules are they'll think that the rules are stupid

I'm not being ironic though, i like seeing people being visually angry in their posts. I like to think of them panicly writing a response then deleting it 10 times to make sure they write that proper burn to the mods. "heh that'll show them"

They wont rewrite the rule because then they'd have to admit it's problem.

Just rename the rule to "active censorship"
