From the first 10 episodes I really enjoy it. The animation on it is really well done (Don't care if it's aged). The cinematography is absolutely ace. The show goes out of its way to create a bright, lighthearted atmosphere for the majority of the show, but it very quickly turns sinister at certain points. Two examples-visual motif of roses and lighthearted music are often juxtaposed with some of the most malicious scenes of the show. Another is the architecture and use of lighting, at one point it the buildings will seem very grand and spacious and welcoming, filled with energy and light. The next they appear desolate, the music slows down and turns more dire, and the number of shadows cast is greatly increased. The lead is often portrayed as alone. Thrown in references to one of my favorite books and it's a very delightful show, and I regret having not seen the other 3/4ths because I had a great first impression.
