forum suspended and account suspension is different also thinking I wasn't posting while forum suspended on this account
"meta abuse is "i NEVER kill this person as mafia, and i ALWAYS start days with this line as town, so i cannot be mafia"" So we can now report people who try to meta clear themselves?

lilinonlyknows says who even cares about being banned anymore, just rename ban to "suspension" prison life seems like it hasn't done you any favors

Arbre says I guess I really don't see the difference between meta and meta abuse here. It seems very subjective. meta is "arbre plays this way a lot as town, so i think he's town"

being banned for cheating didn't stop anyone from getting power neither will meta

meta=/= meta abuse Meta is unavoidable.

Arbre says What I mean is you're bound to play with some players several times, especially in comped where there are less players. Are you just supposed to ignore meta then? That rule seems very unfair and annoying. You're basically told to ignore useful data. meta is fine, repeatedly using a specific behavior to prove your alignment isn't fine

that makes sense. i was thinking vio per instance
voluntaryloser says i don't really have a problem with it. it's good that meta abuse is actually on the rules page now. the only part i don't get is why it'd be more lenient than cheating. 4 vios for a ban seems off meta abuse is usually multi-game/established over lots of games. if it's vio-per-game then i can see it being fine

if you're not talking about guiser then i ain't talkin

Devante says voluntaryloser says guisetesting is against the rules now? what the ****? what's it called i don't see it they tacked it onto the end of ogi but it's gone now

plus the rule phrasing probably doesn't really capture all of what meta abuse is

I'm not talking about guiser at all.

meta abuse is a problem with or without guiser, guiser is inherently crippled by meta in the first place, and you just cannot ban meta.

i think he's talking about the meta abuse part
