I don't feel strongly about this but I do think this site need a censor to censor out words that are offensive to certain people just because it is very annoying to see people spam a bunch of swear words at you. I know that people would find a way around this censor but I also think that this cut down a lot of Hateful Comments reports. If people would be censored then it would probably stop the urge to swear so much. As I said before I honestly don't care about swearing but it does get very annoying. My idea would be to have an option to censor "bad" words like you can hide emotes, fullscreen, mute, and ect. Please sign.

uh no, nobody should be offended by certain words, this is a game of deception and people can be pissed off, if you drive someone to that degree of anger you should expect to be sworn at, life is life, why should it be censored? america is already censored enough as it is, can't even talk against the government,
Yes that is true but if the censor is optional it will not effect you in any way other than you will see an extra option in the settings. You do not have to activate the swear censor if you don't want to, but for those that do, it is a good idea.
there's swearing in video games, movies, tv shows etc... if you can't handle a bit of swearing on the internet then why are you playing EM in the first place?
don't punish everyone else for it just because you can't handle it.
Then everyone on the site will be blocked. Have you ever played a game of mafia here.
But on topic again, like a lot of people I think that having the option to use swear censors is a good idea, as long as you don't make it compulsory, people have no reason to complain.
if it was something you could disable it would be a great feature and you could even eliminate the hateful comments violation. But might need to add a 'avoiding the censor' violation since you just know people will skirt it by adding symbols and what not.
