Hello Sandboxers. Lucid is interested in making new roles, and I know you guys have a bunch of good ideas, so what I'd like to do is get a list of all of the best ideas in this thread and have a poll that you guys can vote on for lucid to make.
On an unrelated note, if you guys know of any bugs with existing roles, please PM me so I can test it out and forward it to lucid so they can get fixed
Mind as well post some of my custom roles that already exist (And for a couple years in fact), but are either balanced for casual games or possibly situationally viable for Main Lobby, mainly hampered by being a custom role.
Scum: https://epicmafia.com/role/5231 Right now its basically a mafia sided bomb that goes out when he dies, however, it currently suffers from the limitations of the custom role creator options so it doesn't always work, but in fact sometimes backfires and sometimes ends up killing your partner as you aren't able to rig it to not

Convict: https://epicmafia.com/role/6367 Basically a survivor that doesn't hide, but is able to mug someone, silencing and stealing from them and is set to have a gun at the start of the game, but according to some people, its apparently overpowered, need some feedback on that part.

okay so I've been reading the thread and like i suspected "my" role ideas have been brought up a few times already by people who already thought of them. Guess I'm not a creative type :Y
well aside from my overcomplicated and probably impossible to code wiretapper idea, maybe having a postman role would be neat
Postman Okay, this role could go a number of ways but the two main ways I could see it work are:
--Has a telegram meeting that enables them to send short system messages to players at the start of the day (possibly other people's wills?)
OR
--Has a parcel meeting where they can deliver items to other players. it could give out items only given to them or it might function like a town thief or self-driver by intercepting items meant for other people, with a few conditions.
~A town sided mastermind ~Simelar to mastermind. Night chats will be anonymous ~Mafia can figure out the mole's identity if they visits him. ~If its 1 nafia vs a mole. The mafia can kill the mole with one vote
If Confused Cop is visited by Homosexual, he becomes Homosexual Cop and his reports become accurate and are subsequently in rainbow text.

Lover gets a gun if her man is visited by Homosexual during the night, which she must use to reclaim him, otherwise she cannot win. Only Lover's man can truly repent of his homosexual ways,
Virgin's loss is reduced by Homosexual's being in play, homosexual actions may still occur. That is, mafia/town etc. who have been visited by the Homosexual retain role usage, and so too does the Homosexual.
If Homosexual visits priest, he becomes villager.
If Homosexual visits Creepy Girl, homosexuality is compared to paedophilia and all homosexuals are stoned to death.
If Homosexual is visited by Alien, he really likes it.

Homosexual:
Works kinda like cult I suppose. Each night lies with another man, as he would a woman. Their win conditions then come to depend also on his win condition of not being stoned to death being satisfied, because he is like the homosexual messiah or something. If he lies with a woman by accident however, he repents unto her and changes his ways, but it is too late, for woman is a jealous creature, and she outs him and he gets stoned to death. (Also no female roles can win while Homosexual is in play as per glass ceiling.)
