Write down 10 goals you want to accomplish within the next 3 months days. Work on accomplishing them and there's your direction in life.

But my whole problem is the inability to come up with goals!

You can come up with goals. There must be something that you want out of life. Life is short and we're all gonna die one day. Are you telling me there is nothing you want to accomplish before your day comes?

It's the journey, not the destination. But the journey requires there to be a destination. So the selection of a destination seems kind of arbitrary, to me.

You must have a destination in mind otherwise your journey will suck if you don't have an idea of what you want. Get the idea of what you want or where you want to go before you start your journey.
