I had the chance to meet some really great players in these few months, players that i believe requested to be a mod and they are still waiting to become one.
There should be a program called "Training to become a moderator", where 4 people (for example) are selected to become a "mod in training". They will be given the chance to learn and prove they are worth getting the position. This "internship" will last one or 2 weeks and when it ends the mod team will pick one person for the job.
Maybe this way more people willl get the chance to see how modding works and if they are up to the task.
Is this a good idea?

mods really suck at not getting hidden linked. i need to teach a seminar on it
this idea has already been discussed...........trial mods......no thank you
If i'm not mistaken you're one of the players i mentioned. But what do you mean? Are they currently recruiting people as trial mods and then after awhile give them the real position?
