I would like to make a suggestion.

  • I had the chance to meet some really great players in these few months, players that i believe requested to be a mod and they are still waiting to become one.
  • There should be a program called "Training to become a moderator", where 4 people (for example) are selected to become a "mod in training". They will be given the chance to learn and prove they are worth getting the position. This "internship" will last one or 2 weeks and when it ends the mod team will pick one person for the job.
  • Maybe this way more people willl get the chance to see how modding works and if they are up to the task.
Is this a good idea?

there's a greasemonkey script that foxie made specifically to show if a page had a hidden link or something like that iirc

my first act as mod would be to avoid opening the "We're modding you!!!! :)" pm that they send because that's classic Hidden Link bait.

mods really suck at not getting hidden linked. i need to teach a seminar on it

I have a feeling your teachings would be decidedly out of date, but you're free to give me all your tips.

you have literally nothing to base that on even though i survived Hidden Linkin 2k14 when gary was trying to HL all the mods

arcbell, as a true show of dominance, hidden link all the mods at once

Pretty much. Luckily he likes me, so nothing malicious yet. Or at least, he doesn't dislike me.

i guess if mods don't use this as an excuse to mod people like Howl or laurierose then sure. by all means.
