So I was reading around on the internet and apparently people are actually fighting for "Pedosexuals"... it's as it sounds, pedophiles. It baffles me that people are actually such SJW that they could argue for such a thing.... if you don't believe me search for the "fckh8" posters and articles. man.....
Yeah and that's what I'm trying to argue against. The bulk of evidence suggests that pedophilia is a string of biological urges, i.e. a condition needing treatment. You have a person who, by existing, is a possible threat. But does that mean that this is a person who wants to be in this position, or that this is a person who will not try to get away from this position? No, not necessarily.

I don't understand how you can be so sympathetic towards this, I mean I understand if its your friend and you want to help them, but do you have this mindset for all criminals? whose to say that all criminals dont have mental issues?? Homicide, , assault, why not say theyre all deranged and deserve more help than societal isolation?
im not keen on judging people on how their mind is different from mine either, but i think it's just important enough for some people that no amount of redeeming qualities can put someone back in the good

i have nothing against this, but we've been talking about being friends with paedophiles. would u have ur paedo friend in the same room with ur niece or nephew or son or whatever, so long as u were keeping an eye on him? i mean to crave sex is hardly much different than to crave meat. it belittles us more than anything else. it's actually legit psychology that sex will make monsters of us over anything else. that wutang dude cut his d*ck off only recently trying to escape from it. and then to crave sex with kids has to be that depravity taken to its most extreme. it's hard to see humanity in that, for me, tbh. but f*ck, set up places for them to go. let them receive treatment. hopefully they'll not make life hell for some kid.
Well yes (despite me not being a big fan of the good/bad person dichotomy), but by operating under that assumption, you group up both the "good" and the "bad" who haven't committed a crime.
Oh I really didn't mean to come off like that. Not at all. I understand it's a very sensitive issue and only meant to articulate how seriously I take it. Didn't mean to blow anyone off, sorry. I understand your opinion, I just come off a little forceful in these issues sometimes.
Because if you're arguing it's "for the good of the children" you're taking a very odd approach by rejecting he possibility that a person with these urges might actually want to get rid of them.
