I would like to have a thought provoking and civil conversation about ISIS.....what you think will stop them, what will make it worse. Please make this a civil and appropriate discussion. i am looking for a good conversation not a flame war.

(Around 25 percent of Muslims)
Bringing numbers out of your *** is not very nice.

Please take your comments somewhere where they might be appreciated like an EDL or BNP meeting.
The entire Middle East. Let's just wipe them off the face of the Earth, blow them away

The west is naive about the middle eastern countries and Muslims. While we squabble amongst ourselves what tthe "correct" and "humane" way to fight terrorism, Muslim extremist, (around 25% of muslims) are doing everything in their power to find ways to destroy the west, it's culture, freedoms, and way of life, and impose barbaric sharia law. We won't see that until something worse than 9/11 happens. Which is why if we're going to get involved, we should wipe them off the map. If not, then we need to pull out and let them fight each other, which is what they want to do anyway.

I want us to nuke the middle east tbh
Are you actually unironically and wholeheartedly seriously saying this
Other nations around Iraq and Syria will be more eager to deal with it because those countries share the border with Iraq and/or Syria. Eventually the reasonable muslims will get sick of the radicals and put them down or they will elect a dictator who will.
As evil and awful as Saddam was, he also kept radical sunni groups and other radical militant groups from forming. The U.S mistake was overthrowing that balance by getting rid of Saddam's regime.
Yea. As well as imperialistic Brits that like to rule countries then leave them broken and messed up.
Well Britain ruled my country and when they left it was one of the richest Caribbean countries...But greed, corruption, mis-management and even more corruption has lead to a severely broken country......And on ISIS i dont believe America should be the main defense force against stopping...The UN really needs to grow some balls and deal with this, the sooner the better....
Wait is nuking the middle east actually an opinion that some people have?

We have enough problems here, in one of the world's greatest countries -- I'm tired of wasting my hard-earned dorrars [bucks] on new rifles for the US Marines. I'm sick of being personally involved in wars I know little to nothing about. Just nuke the entire continent and be done with it.
Yup. That's it to be honest. I love me some shot guns.

Hm, yes, that's very possible
On the other hand, if you're deluding yourself that America patrols countries on the other side of the globe for the sake of peace-keeping you're a friggin dumbass.
I didn't say we did it in the name of peace lol. I know we have our....interest, to put it lightly. I just personally don't want us involved anymore. We have enough problems at home (bad education, horrid healthcare system, wage gaps, high unemployment, etc.) why are we spending billions on wars that really we shouldn't be involved with.
