The amount of mechanical faults in Main Lobby games is colossal in comparison with comp. where everyone was at least mechanically astute

It's not even about being "good" as much as it is understanding simple game play and strategies of setups. What is even wrong with people wanting to play only training? There was nothing restricting them from coming into the competitive lobby when they had enough points. The best thing was that a lot of them did stay after SLOWLY learning how to play. Taking your time in red hearts and unranked is extremely important. A great tool was introduced into Main lobby that should have been introduced before; the double points/featured setup. If this was introduced into training lobby while it was around, I guarantee that people might have understood what the heck they were doing. Now there is so much stuff in Main lobby that it's extremely cluttered all the time.
Somene claiming to be the messanger of Pranay, tried to gt so hard. But no one will refund a thing xD

im not misusing it, you can go ahead and try to make a competitive lobby again as you have the ability to, just dont complain when one of your special snowflakes mishammers in your game and you complain about the playerbase yet again
the sample size of good players is 1 player, and it's Me.

you're disillusioned like competitive lobby was the be all solution when in reality it was terrible there too
i heard people complaining about competitive lobby all the time, not even about the amount of people joining competitive
the fact is your standards are not really high rather they're just unrealistic as the meta and community has drastically changed, competitive is but a small fraction of the players who go here now and instating a secret elitist lobby isn't going to give them incentive to play there and comp would eventually die out
which is why the merge happened in the first place and the second point being that people were not learning or would just go back to training
and you forget that again, the sample size of 'good players' is staggeringly low
i think most people that don't read into it that heavily and just play mafia aren't bothered by it

Honestly if you think about it, quantity is not always better than quality. By quality I mean the satisfaction of those in the competition. Joining games in Main lobby competition is like a coin flip; you don't know if you're going to get a game with a bunch of people who have absolutely no idea what they are doing. If you say "just avoid them", then good luck trying to avoid dozens and dozens of people to get a decent game. I actually think Competitive lobby should be reinstated considering the satisfaction of other site members. Not a lot of people are enjoying themselves because most games are unintentionally losing autowin and being thrown (which is easier due to the ability of hiding behind new accounts in a lobby with mostly newer members). I can guarantee you that most people aren't generally happy with how Main lobby turned out, including me.
well i play most of my games with friends in main lobby and i won a bronze trophy doing it, so i think i'm doing something right

make another gold lobby and see how it works out. i can understand a need for 'better play' but you have to realize that epicmafia has never been a bastion of good mafia players and throughout my time here there has always been someone to complain
that's a pretty gross exaggeration anthony, but whatever it takes

Bring back Gold lobby!

I have to admit that I disagree with this comment a little:
alternatively, we can not give out violations for bad play, and you can just avoid the players that don't try.
This is literally avoiding 85% of the games played in Main lobby. Even if there were less games played in Competitive lobby than in Main lobby, the quality of play was much better in my opinion. Even though most people were angry ragers, at least the angry ragers knew basic gameplay
