rutab i don't think you know what you're talking about

Yeah but that implies that future bad play would lead to a violation. If I wasn't sure about someone's intent and they made a horrible mistake I would normally note that anyway, though.

Okay. I've found a solution...*clears throat* North America lobby, South America lobby, Europe lobby and...can we add voice instead of webcam to games??? (This is my fail attempt to make you guys smile. Come on. Do it. ~)
[quote=Vancy]notes aren't violations and at least then peoplecan be aware od their mistake. At least give an isp for people who dont read the game. People in competitive games should a. Know the setup even vaguely and b. Pay attention to the game.

That's because Draw is one of those games you're supposed to invite your friends too. EpicMAFIA was not made for games like Draw.

People learn from their mistakes a lot easier if you're getting screamed at tbh. At least that was better than no one knowing what they're doing, like right now. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way and the hard was is the best way in this case.

I don't really care if games take longer to fill in certain time zones if the quality's not friggin egregious.

That's not very nice.

Guys stop I already told once, games fill awefully slow, if not the sandbox players, I would like all lobbys to be merged into one. Like couldn't fill a draw it game until it apeared in sandbox.

Snide secret alternate account Orly prepares work on another macro-post exhibiting nothing but his lack of basic cognitive skills.
ITT zero-time trophy winning Admin and a bunch of moderators that play all their games together and are thus not facing the issues of Main are trying to justify a merge that has thoroughly depleted the quality of mafia across all levels.
I don't miss the atmosphere of Comp at all. It was like the wild west, and you'd get screamed for making the smallest mistakes. There were many times I just lost all interest in mafia because of it. I don't want to go back to that.
i just don't understand this sentiment because it never existed for me, and i isp'd most of my games

It's not even about being "good" as much as it is understanding simple game play and strategies of setups. What is even wrong with people wanting to play only training? There was nothing restricting them from coming into the competitive lobby when they had enough points. The best thing was that a lot of them did stay after SLOWLY learning how to play. Taking your time in red hearts and unranked is extremely important. A great tool was introduced into Main lobby that should have been introduced before; the double points/featured setup. If this was introduced into training lobby while it was around, I guarantee that people might have understood what the heck they were doing. Now there is so much stuff in Main lobby that it's extremely cluttered all the time.
one thing i will say to you about this is that most training players i know don't care about learning
i'd simply say 'well teach them' but the fact is the majority of players use epicmafia as a circle jerking/easy distraction service instead of a highly competitive game where wits are being displayed
i dont think that would change with another competitive lobby
Actually it would because the said players would stay in the original lobby and not move as we've seen in the past.
those players existed in comp too, and still do

What do you guys suggest, then?
Are there any solutions other than implementing a rule for bad play (which won't happen) or splitting the lobbies again?

I think it's fair to say thay at least half the games in play has at least one person not paying attention or offering to be lynched and doing nothing else which can make or break a game
