1) He'd always do the right thing even if it caused him a political headache because he's super anal about things being done correctly.
2) He's pretty smart so a lot of the time it comes easy to him.
3) He likes the site and the community. He actually likes this community. He actually LIKES this community...
4) He's willing to take up the job, and not just as a "oh wouldn't it be fun if I were admin" sort of deal.. he knows what it entails and he's ready and eager cos he's weird.
Hope this helps Lucid. Try not to let any of the trash talking PMs get to you this time.

because there's no need for a radical change as long as they're getting done eventually and complaints are as minimal as possible, even if there are some people doing more than others

Yeh I'm kinda curious why mods who seem to consistently perform 10-30 reports a week are retained. Some of the mods might be machines but it's a rather unfair distribution of workload.
Eh you have most of the same problems I told bronto he had when he became admin and a few other things, but I would take you over any of the mods who act like it's them versus the community, or basically any of the ones that are not possible to reason with (I don't mean easy to convince, but easy to discuss things with). Some have such a "talk to the hand" attitude that gets on my nerves. You are probably just acting humble right now on purpose and deep inside want to be admin more than it seems, and heck maybe it's because of #4 in this thread but I would say everyone that wants to be admin is for #4, or they wouldn't want to (but that's just IMO).
And I'm not saying any of the mods if you know who I'm referring too are bad, but man that's the opposite of what an admin should be. Idk how you guys are deciding who gets admin but whoevers making the decision should realize that being admin and a good mod are slightly different.

considering that connor was demodded by lucid himself, i think he's most assuredly an underdog.
