He's been relegated (or sacked before his team gets relegated) more times than I can count.
Utterly failed to get Leeds promoted back when they were actually a team that should've been getting promotion.
He did well with Sheffield United, yes, although he had an 8 year stint there and only took them to the PL in the final year. But since then, he's achieved nothing. The amount that was invested into QPR, it'd have been an abject failure for him NOT to take them to PL. And he promptly failed when he got there.
Harry Redknapp, Roy Hodgson, Sam Allardyce and Steve Bruce are all better English managers than him for sure.
hopefully palace start climbing up the table soon. would be a shame to see the best english manager (and one of the most colourful characters) in the league sacked.
I agree, but City need English players right now and they need to play them. I'd prefer them to go to somewhere like arsenal, or even abroad, but from City's perspective, signing english players in january is vital if the club is to progress.

And yet when those English players do get taken on by teams like City, they just become the next Jack Rodwell, Micah Richards, or Scott Sinclair.
I'd much rather those players you listed weren't at teams like City/Chelsea.
english players are all underrated, infact lets generalize it more and say British and Irish players. barkley could do a job for you, as could Allen, Sturridge, Johnson and Henderson if liverpool don't get top 4. then you have talent such as grealish of villa, gauld of sporting lisbon, ward-prowse, maybe ince and if berahino, stones and austin continue to develop, then there's no reason why we can't include them either. people look at England and think we're a bunch of donkeys, but the truth is, we're one of the top 10 footballing nations in the world.
Aguero can't do it all. Him, Milner, Silva and Hart have been the only decent performers for you lot this season. You need more English players to give your team more personality, shouldn't have gotten rid of lescott tbh, he's miles better than demichelles.
