Glad Yaya scored an amazing goal so people can stop talking **** about him for a few days.
Only CM in the world expected to bag loads of goals. He can create all the chances he wants and play great balls if he doesn't score he's on "poor form".

He didn't look like he's 65 today, so that was nice.
So by your logic if in 2016 some 20 year old wonderkid CB comes along and heads 15 goals for Liverpool you will say "Oh, what has he done? Just head a bunch of goals? So what, his job is to defend!"
Like I said, if you see things like this, the ongoing season will just prove it. Van Gaal just has to give Mata his chances. Everton's game is the perfect chance for Mata to prove himself as a first team player. Please tell me, what has Falcao done up until now? Just 2 assists, so what? His job is to score, finish opportunities. He is nowhere near his top form right now. He could improve in the future, but it's unlikely. He'll have some fierce competition, which is a good thing, yet he has to adapt to the BPL. Much like van Persie, hasn't been on form for nearly a year. He needs to score a goal to boost his confidence or else he'll just become a bench warmer.
According to last season, Di Maria played better than Mata. But so far, I'm not feeling it when Di Maria goes on the ball. It's like the World Cup when he just tried to dribble every time and got dispossessed. Sure, he had a couple of good games, he's in good form. Can he keep that all season? That's the question that'll be answered later. Remember, Ozil began well with Arsenal.
Mata has been relatively ineffective where Di Maria has pretty much singlehandedly given United life. United playing Rooney as more of a second striker seems to be working well too.
Falcao has also been overwhelmingly positive so far.
And if you actually watch football....Di Maria is quite OBVIOUSLY better than Mata.
Juan Mata is merely above average especially when you factor in his utter ineptitude defensively. It's like you are playing with 10 men when the other team has the ball.
DarkSkull, 2 games aren't a factor. He had 2 good games out of a total 4. He might be in-form now but he'll slowly decrease. What he'll accomplish throughout the season is what counts. Mata proved himself in Chelsea and played well for United last season. He doesn't get the recognization(it's spelled wrong, anyone know the correct one?) he deserves. I'm not going to compare Mata and Di Maria, because the season itself will prove who's the better player.
Yes, he is better than both of them. Clearly. Stats say so, not me. It's not fair for him that he got benched the last couple of games. Di Maria is a fantastic player, but he hasn't proved himself yet. Oh, and Falcao is yet to score. I doubt if he doesn't score in the next game vs Everton, Van Gaal will choose him over Mata again. Mata will be MotM of the Everton game, he'll prove he's better than any Mancs player right now.

Calling Mata better than Di Maria or Falcao is a rather amusing statement.
I don't know what you all are arguing about. Chris Smalling, much like Johnny Evans, is awful. Mancs can't keep a clean sheet for it. However, Juan Mata, their best player, will carry them to let's say: 2nd place.
Let's talk about the London Derby. I think it's going to be a 3-3 tie. A marathon game with Alexis Sanchez delivering his true qualities. Cesc will be involved in every Chelsea attack, and will give Arsenal fans something to boo about in the away game. I don't think Costa will score, only Messi or Ronaldo are able to score a massive amount of goals at the end of a season. At this rate, he could score more than 50 goals, I just can't see that happening.
The clasico is coming up. Real are gonna get a thrashing. Suarez won't do much, I think he'll come on as a sub.
Oh, and Liverpool. lolololololololololololololololol.
Yeah I know who Huddlestone is. Absolutely fantastic player in his day, especially during the Redknapp era. He was also great for Hull in the first half of the season, but that roaring fie dwindled down at around March time and I put that down to Hull's bad form at the time and pressure by the media wanting him to be called up to the England squad for the World Cup. I was looking forward to seeing Huddlestone play for Hull this season, especially with the new players they'd bought (imo Hull did the best business this window) but he just doesn't seem the same player; too defensive, too nervous, too fragile.
I see Huddlestone as a ball retention player. He's one of those like Ramires or Fernandinho who's job is to win the ball and play it to a teammate. Allen and Can are similar players.

Do you even know who Tom Huddlestone is?
He doesn't play anything like Allen, Can or Lucas. He'll set the tempo of the game, orchestrating from the midfield by offering short and/or long passes. If he could synchronise with Balotelli, I believe they'd work very well together as Balotelli feeds off of good service.
As for his play at Hull... Do you even watch Hull play? It seems like you don't with such a bold comment.
Here is an image of Tom Huddlestone when he was an RnB artist.

I daresay a couple of top class center backs will be available next year. Benatia was the only one this summer, but Subotic in particular could be prized from BVB as long as they kept Hummels.
1. I disagree with that. United have some cracking defenders, they're just bereft of confidence at this moment in time. Confidence is a big thing in football, more important than skill or ability. I agree that Jones is better than Smalling, but Jones wouldn't move to Liverpool; Smalling however I think would.
2. Maybe not with Ferguson in charge, but I don't see Van Gaal caring, as long as they pay the fee they're looking for.
3. Van Persie is overrated. His attitude is bad first of all and he's too hit and miss to be considered as one of the best in the league. As a big team such as United, you need your strikers to turn up to 90% of games, not 50% of them. Dzeko, yeah I like him, but unlike Sturridge, he can't create chances for himself, which is why I think Sturridge is the better player. He's more complete.
4. Rodgers instilled confidence in him. Confidence that he didn't receive at City or Chelsea. Sturridge always had a great attitude and a willingness to learn, he just needed that chance to prove himself and Rodgers gave him that chance. Henderson did, but now he's Liverpool's best and most important midfield player, which again, is down to Rodgers' patience and confidence in him. Suarez was a great player in the Dutch league. Afonso Alves was a great player in the Dutch league, as was Mateja Kezman. Rodgers transformed him from one of the best players in the Dutch League into one of the best players in the world, something that Southgate or Mourinho couldn't do with their talents.
5. Liverpool need a world class center back. Every team needs world class center backs. Problem is that Liverpool can't attract world class center backs at this time. They need to sign defenders who can become world class over time, like Chris Smalling or Varane who is incredibly mature for his age. Hummels or Pique would never leave their respective clubs for Liverpool, nor would other great defenders such as Cahill, Chiellini, Godin, Miranda, Boateng and the likes.
