your favorite pokemon type?

Muse is probably the best band in the world right now. They are literally what saved music for us in the 00's. Every song they wrote in their first four albums is made of pure gold. You can literally listen to them forever and you'd be fine because each of those four albums are unique and beautiful in their own right. Even when all of their songs are great, the truth is that their lesser known songs are even better. Despite their popularity, they have a lot of B-sides and "rare" songs, and all of them are also gold. Songs like "Shrinking Universe" or "In your World" or "Pink Ego Box" are so beautiful and could be considered classics by themselves. Even in their regular studio albums, this is true. Songs like "Escape" and "Fury" and "Butterflies and Hurricanes" are true gems of the 00's.

And that's just what you can buy. Their live shows are spectacular and fantastic as well. Every song that they played live in the 00's sounds gorgeous, I'd argue even better than their studio versions. Their hit song, "New Born" is played often in live concerts but each time it's played live Matthew Bellamy, the lead singer and lead guitarist, will do a different guitar solo, and each is extremely delicious as well. Not only do they sound good with their instruments, but their vocals are ridiculous as well. Matthew is a very talented musician in general, but his singing is on-par with his guitar playing, which is arguably the best in our generation as well. He can reach octaves most lead singers can't because his vocal reach is so expansive.

Muse is definitely THE band of our generation. I don't think an argument can be made for any other band. None of the 00's are as down to earth and exquisite as they are. Some can compete but none can defeat Muse.

Yes and no? There are different reasons why lives are good and why studio albums are good. If you're talking about the listening aspect, I say studio albums. But lives are more than just listening.

every day because i get hot incredibly easily since my body temperature is too f!@#ing high so anything that's even warm makes me sweat and i need to run 3 fans to stay solid
