a little of both, I wouldn't like someone if they weren't likable to begin with, and even if they were of use to me, at best I'd pretend to like them but I would never, in an honest conversation, say I like them. outside of that extreme, the argument that people are useful to me for information and knowledge or just so that banter can be made, but I'd argue that such things are what makes them, them, so to say I like them for "them" is also saying I like them for their "use" for me, which is often times as a friend or at least a friendly face.
what's a word you put a lot of value in so you'll only sparingly use it?
(Sorry to hear that furansu ;~:) An old pal of mine named Gryph, she didn't really do anything wrong, but we randomly stopped talking and I could care less tbh
Who is somebody that you never want to leave your life?
Middle school was pretty terrible. But uuuhh one of the time. it was towards the end of the year in 8th grade, and it was one of those days in school where there was something going on, in this case it was the 3 on 3 basketball competition, but our teacher just said we could hang out in her classroom and skip it. Which was fine by us. So instead she sent a small group of us to do a bunch of little errands for her around the school, and we were just like making jokes and laughing and we took a bunch of videos. Funniest part was that one of the kids with us wanted to go into a locker and he couldnt get out, to which we all started freaking out and this little 6th grader was coming down the hallway saw the kid banging the locker to get out and just walked slowly out of the hallway.
haha also one time some kid took laxatives and pooped in the hallways/classrooms of all the teachers he didnt like.
Favorite high school memory?
deletedalmost 10 years
covers are what you use to cover your bed and pillows, blankets are what you use to cover yourself
the only exception is when using the phrase "under the covers"
what's the fondest memory you have from when you were in middle school (ages 11ish to 13/14ish)
Back in I think 6th grade? when I was an unconfident, naive and innocent kid who had no fashion sense whatsoever as it was, for the most part, dictated by his parents, I was unsurprisingly not a very cool guy. However, on one day the coolest guy in the school had noticed me and my then taste in music. I guess he was just trying to be nice or whatever but he offered to give me a rather nice and spazzy hoodie of the band that I liked that he had gotten from one of their concerts. I accepted it and he gave it to me for free the next day. After I got it washed I wore it to school the day after that.
I wouldn't say that that day was the turning point for me, where I went from unconfident to confident, but it certainly went a long way in that regards. After wearing that hoodie, I just felt cooler as a result. People actually dropped compliments on my sense of fashion, which was a really big thing for ole' unconfident me. There were of course, other gifts in my life thus far that were of higher monetary value or even sentimental value, but that hoodie meant a lot to me emotionally, and that's why I'd say it's the most significant gift I've received thus far.
best song that you haven't heard of until now that you've heard in the last week?
