Worst habit?

Damn I can't remember which philosopher it was and I'm about to really water this down but I think it was Kant who proposed a way of judging a person ethically via their intention more than their actions. i.e. if a person does x or y good thing because they want to be /seen/ as good rather than because they feel it is their duty to do good, especially if there is nothing to be gained, then regardless of how generous or positive the action was, it cannot be considered good.

There were flaws to this that I remember learning about in class but I can't be bothered to find my philosophy notebook but I remember that sticking out as the one thing I really loved learning about and exploring in the two philosophy classes I took in school.

My least favorite holiday is probably Columbus Day because we're celebrating a scumbag "making" a "radical discovery" and also slaughtering and dehumanizing innocents in the process.
