bullying girls with smaller frames, and less voluptuous figures as if they're unattractive/anorexic. I just heard a sad and degrading song that I can't quite figure out if it's a public joke or not. Why are we publicly deemed "skinny B!TCHES" if we're naturally smaller than a size 6? Horrified that i'm considered a Bit** for not being overweight =/ It's not a 'positive message' that if you have small breasts (like me) and "don't got that jelly" men won't find you sexually appealing...
Oh and I did want to address that supermodel comment.
Supermodels are not known for their physiques at all and the reason they are so thin is because they appeal to women probably more than they do men, the women's ideal size is smaller than male and the supermodel industry hasn't been particularly lust driven ever.
A better example would be the industry where body types like Guerra exist in spades because that's what the average man lusts after.
this focus [orthorexia] may turn into a fixation so extreme that it can lead to severe malnutrition or even death.

When I lift heavy weights my body endures incredible pain. Ergo, naturally I would be inclined to stop.
It's called having self-control and willpower.
QRich is in pain. The force he's exerting is incredible, it feels to him almost as if he's lifting the entire world in his hand. He pushes and pushes against the weight he's holding, he curls and curls. The weight is quickly approaching the apex. Everything in QRich's body is telling him to stop, but he knows better. He must press on. He's doing this for himself. To test his own limits. To mold himself into a stronger, faster, better human being. The pain is almost too much to bear, but he doesn't give up. Exerting his last ounce of strength, utilizing the final muscle cell in his poor arm's reserves, he pulls the weight up. He's done it-the curl is finished. His willpower won out, he is the master of his own destiny. No physical sensation can overpower the strength of his mind.
Euphoric in the end of the struggle, the grand triumph, QRich seizes the day. He takes a big bite out of the weight. It's taken him years to get this far. He chews it up and swallows. Tasting the sweet sensation of victory, he sets his piece of pizza, now missing its point, down onto the table. His work here is finished for the day.
Tomorrow he thinks he's ready. He's going to do it. He's ordering one with extra pepperoni.
A new challenge awaits, a new summit to be climbed. QRich is ready.
Great story but I would never eat a pizza after a workout.
It's an obsessive and unhealthy fixation on 'healthy diet'. In many cases, diet can become so restrictive that it becomes unhealthy due to nutritional deficits in sufferers (e.g. meat and dairy are common foodstuffs that sufferers stop eating) which in turn can cause organ failure and other serious illnesses.
How is that healthy?
Being stupid is unhealthy.
I know plenty of food conscious people that do it the right way. One of my former co-workers was like that and I saw him gain like 15 pounds of muscle in 3 months.
vegans are doing a lot of bad things. they're basically eating food meant for cows and other large mammals which will result in the eventual extermination of those animals so say goodbye to the animals we purposely domesticated!

I guess they replace the nutrients with things like tofu and soya milk?

When TLC starts making up that people haven't written in this thread is when I stop wasting my time with legitimate responses.

No one cares how much pain you endure through your workouts. That can't be healthy for you anyway.
There's a difference between living a healthy lifestyle (eating a good diet vs a crappy diet) and becoming ravenous 2hrs after you just ate breakfast because your body isn't able to metabolize the food you just ate and use it for energy so it sends hunger signals for more food due to a compromised biological mechanism that no longer functions the way nature intended it to.
Duh idiot.
You just told me to "educate myself"
Then suggest that working out "can't be good for you"
Are you trolling right now or are you actually this defensive that you have started eschewing common sense?
Please quote me where I ever wrote the words "working out is bad for you"

TLC the way you describe optimal eating habits is how orthorexia and other eating disorders begin.
I suggest an extra dose of "stop posting"
Orthorexia is not an eating disorder.
It's called eating healthy.
you heard it hear first guys, if someone is unhealthily obsessed with something that's "good" it's actually not a disorder.
It was introduced in 1997 by Steven Bratman, M.D., to be used as a parallel with other eating disorders, such as anorexia nervosa. Orthorexia is not mentioned in the widely used DSM, but was coined by Bratman, who claims that in rare cases, this focus may turn into a fixation so extreme that it can lead to severe malnutrition or even death.

Personal trainers don't work with your health in mind.
Their main goal is to get you results regardless of how you get those results so that they can get paid.
Dieticians prescribe diabetics a heart healthy diet of 4-6 servings of oatmeat, whole grain cereal, and whole grains.
I'm really glad you hold that opinion Edark. I would never want to be in either of these careers.

ok i think the tl;dr of this thread is if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all, dont call people demeaning names like "stick" "twig" "cow", but also grow a thicker skin bc if you're actually offended and feel like your self esteem has been impacted by a song then you might need to reconsider some stuff
nah i just don't think that two songs with a combined 110 million radio impressions a week and 130 million+ views online should be bashing "skinny Bit**s" like that while reaching so people and be accepted as okay/a positive msg... it's gross
