EM sure has fallen these past few years, things aren't the same as they were before; the player base has dropped, winning a trophy doesn't have the same hype, the forums aren't as lively, and many former active players are now inactive...
If this continues, EM could be dead within the next decade (5-10 years) or sooner, who knows. Yes, new players will come around and old players will continue to leave but it seems like we are still seeing a downward trend on the activity level of the community instead of an upward trend.
Most of EM's general population is between the ages of 13-18 so with the school season starting, Epicmafia's community will be hit hard and things will start to get worse. We have a cold winter stirring up ahead of us fellow mafioso's and it doesn't look like things are gonna get any better.
Discuss what caused EM to go downhill and what we as a community can to do to change, reform, and help EM flourish again like in the good old days.
With your brain power, we can heal the community together, one step at a time.
If I felt like being a mod was taking too much of my free time I'd have quit already. It's not a time consuming job and I can manage my time well enough. Some mods struggle with that, but it's their choice to stay modded, and as long as they do their fair share of reports it isn't an issue.
tbh i think we'd be doing some of the mods a favor by resigning them and replacing them with younger people with more free time, we need to respect the mods by giving them their lives back
I probably am too old for it but reports keep me coming back to the site and I trust myself more than new players to actually make the right call on reports. I'm all for new players getting modded, but having trustworthy vets on the mod team is helpful. : )
yes but you've been here for so long, what motivates you to do reports anymore? aren't you getting a bit too old for this, Im sure lucid and bronto appreciates all the work you've done but im also sure that your life will be better spent off of EM and moving on to greater things. let the newcomers take over, they are young and have plenty of free time to mod reports, they wont have any problem doing so

my report count got wiped twice because of weareking and my own dumb fault but i have technially done about 1000+ by now
get rid of the current mods who joined the site pre 2013 and replace them with newer mods who are more dedicated to this site, the old timers aren't as committed as they were their freshman year of EM. i think freshman deserve to rule us
