I created two setups with both santa and voodoo.
The first (
https://epicmafia.com/setup/1095951 ) went 54:45 with 62 plays (which is almost as balanced as Fancy Pants and other lame vanilla games and is the SAME ratio as BV) and the second was, in my opinion, gonna show the same sort of balance (
https://epicmafia.com/setup/1099669 ) though we weren't given the opportunity to continue testing as it got blacklisted after 4 plays.
Not only this, but these setups were FUN, and a great deal of people enjoyed them. Unlike CM and FP, there were no groans when you flipped maf cause both town/maf had a decent chance at winning. The game varied (maf could cc virtually anything) and it was training so many players with diff roles and mechanics, as well as optimal gameplay and strats (having to think about what you cc, when to shoot etc).
I was told santa/voodoo were blacklisted for being too 'powerful' - sorry, but on that awesome logic, Jailers make cocos unbalanced and should be blacklisted. There are many other examples of 'overpowering' roles in setups that can swing the success of the game either way.
It's a sad time to be a setup creator in Epic Mafia.
