If both conditions end in a win for you, you can essentially cheat

if both conditions end in a loss for you, you can essentially throw

if your win or loss isn't defined by the conditions but someone else's is, it is a combination of both

please ban third parties

steven you'll read i didn't say the word uncompetitive in this thread.

i merely stated facts in the OP and then requested the removal of third parties

I hate it when people talk about things being "uncompetitive".

You know what else is uncompetitive? Night start setups. Meta-reads. But no one goes crying about those.

Heck, someone suggest that only anonymous dawn start setups should be allowed in competitive.

Secondary win conditions should definitely be removed. There's no reason to have them: everyone should have one goal in the game and that's it.

Other than that, stop hating on third parties.

Kingmaker isn't autolose for the person put into the position, depending on what roles they're stuck between.

The person in the kingmaker position has a job to convince one or both of two to NL with him, opening the possibility for a crossfire.

If they can't convince either person, they take the loss without picking a side.

if you can NL for a town win then it's not kingmaker. shut up riddler

actually, i just just joint with the people who i want to win.

Best to distinguish this between people you like and people you think deserve the win

basically the same population, i'm not gonna joint with maymay even if all the other townies deserve to win.

fuzzy conclusion because it never helps in any scenario. if you are not sure about your win in the higher payout then you would rather go for the lower one.

how many times did i explain it already. you are smart enough to comprehend everything. you just need to read

Also derfel--- you dont understand-- kingmaker is not allowed. dude develop some reading skills.

I have meta on you - you use Skype to win games.

Kingmaker is allowed, as long as you are still playing to your win condition.

@derfel-- well that is the best you can do. All you can think of is how to beat me in a game. you can never go beyond that. What i can do is figure out 146 ways to get around that. The fact is that someone like you who has decided to throw against me right here in the thread and is encouraging it, will always throw against me. But i still have a way around it. You dont even know about it. It isnt about the friends people play with. It is about how you deal with trolls and gters. Convincing any normal user is child's play for me. And i know how to convince throwers. I know what clicks. you cant play kingmaker so you will have to go to the scenario where your win condition depends on me too.

The fact that you have decided that I will always throw against you is an advantage I now have over you. Thanks again.

I GOT IT! you can influence your win con by deciding to backstab fast so that when your opponent quickvotes the townie in an effort to joint the game will hammer before they can think "***.. he's thinking. he must be backstabbing me. i better backstab."

you have to rely on what you did during the day and hope that it works. During the night all you can do is hope.

one thing you can do is--

flash your vote-- if it doesnt hammer, it means the other player is thinking about it. which means he is more likely to ditch you( if you fall in that scenario). then you ditch the player.

ditching or not ditching the other guy doesnt affect your own win con

Exactly - and as long as the "kingmaker" can fulfill his win condition, then it makes total sense to decide who to let win or not let win for:

- point total in competitive standings
- future friendships / meta
- karma, b***h
