I think the mods should collectively make a decision and weigh in on the matter together instead of pushing it of a couple of people. You've got a whole day to revisit and rethink the decision thoroughly.

I looked at it pretty thoroughly and you didn't change much at all despite being warned. I read your PMs you sent me throughout the evening and most of it was you pleading ignorance.

And no, I said that we weren't going to bother suspending you from the round and giving you a violation if you weren't in position to win a trophy. I personally told you to stop doing what you were doing sometime end of last round / early this round, spoke to your mentor about trying to teach you not to do this on day 3 - I have a lot of *** on my plate to deal with already, I had been on my computer with hardly any break between 8 am and 11 pm, mostly dealing with site stuff - don't tell me I didn't look at it and that I'm being unfair. We gave you ample warning to change how you played and you didn't. Dezeriae is right, there's an expectation of the rules that you need to know as a player and be aware of. You knew that you were using this meta to prove yourself as town, as proven from the games I read and that others have pointed out to me.

I know this isn't an easy or fun decision to make, but this really was akin to the iwillneverlie guy in terms of how close you stuck with this "I only ATE as town meta", and how often you brought it up that that was that you do ("let me use ATE to clear myself here"). Comp is small, it doesn't take long for word like that to travel around and for most people to know that you're being 100% honest when you say that. It puts you at an unfair advantage and makes reading you much easier.

As far as Retti pausing the round again goes, I can't blame him for his concern about this, considering this is sort of new ground and admittedly I was in a bad mood yesterday, but I was content with what we had agreed on earlier in the day. I went to bed around 11:15 PM with the round unpaused. I am sorry that everyone has to wait another day while we revisit this discussion.
