cant sleep but yo devils advocate here but sachy your opinion weighs p heavily on the guy. i wouldnt necessarily call him a doormat, but he could have just let it be and just w8 for lucy to clean up this mess

Caring about community opinion is one thing.

Being a doormat and ignoring the opinion of the team as a whole is another.

They both look bad

who cares if multiple mods made that opinion, multiple mods are bad.

Well now someone on the mod team is going to look silly because one or more of these things is true:

A. Retti just overturned a modteam consensus on a personal hunch (*cough*community pressure*cough*), and is possibly right or wrong depending on your interpretation

B. Bronto's statement that implied there was a consensus among the mods is wrong/inaccurate, which is pretty important when you're talking about seeing who is/isn't trophying and Retti just went against the admin's sustained appeal anyway.

well *** me for caring about what the community thinks about most situations right? the mod team isn't perfect by any means and i think we should involve community opinion more often with cases like these, it's not really any different from where there were cheating threads back then where people could discuss their opinons and write the defenses about it

that is why bronto got opinions in the meta thread earlier. and people said it was honest meta and then it was left up to the mods. and i didnt even initially report it in hopes of him getting suspended
