Simple forum game I am testing for 8 people!

The players are secretly divided between 4 anonymous detectives and 4 criminals. All criminals know identity of the The Mole (who wins as a criminal, but appears as a detective), and all detectives know the identity of The Informant (who wins as a detective, but appears to be a criminal), but nothing else.

A suitcase containing millions of dollars starts the game lying on the ground. 24 hours after the game beings, someone can say they want to grab the suitcase.

When someone has the suitcase, their alignment will be revealed, and they will have 24 hours to pass it to another player whose role is still unknown. When that player recieves the suitcase, their alignment is revealed and they must pass it to someone in 24 hours... etc.

All normal detectives will be revealed as detectives, and normal criminals will be revealed as criminals. However, since The Informant and The Mole are sneaks, the Informant will be revealed as a criminal even though he is sided with the detectives, and The Mole will be revealed as a detective even though he is sided with the criminals.

The detectives win if 3 detectives and the Mole are revealed and the criminals fail to guess the Informant. The criminals win if 3 criminals and the Informant is revealed and the detectives fail to guess the Mole.

The winning team absconds with the suitcase with all the cash inside.

If Ryan is the detective, you and me are both very obvious detectives, and he had a pool of 4 people to decide who the mole was.

also qrstuv stop saying that shite about the mole 'asking for the case' cuz that means, according to your logic, the mole cant be matt, myself, you OR the other detective who'll inevitably have to ask for the case?

If qrstuv is the mole and passed to the hard claimed criminal, that gives only a 33% chance of passing to the criminal. 67% he passes to detective, or the informant.

Elmo is probably sleeping and unfortunately out of everyone else, 2 of them are barely here. So i guess I'll have to do my game this way:

Chan, Bluest, Okie, I want each of you to give me three names of people who are NOT the mole. You can't use your own name, and you also can't use mine as you participating in this game implies you trust that I'm a regular criminal.

My goal here is to figure out the last criminals (assuming mole is not in the 3 revealed detectives) and/or narrow down the informant in case we lose.

If you for some reason don't trust me, just say so and I'll take a shot in the dark instead.

Lelmoo, once they give the names I want you to tell me who the informant is.

i have an idea of who the final detective is too, and obviously i know the informant which i did 100% think qrstuv knew before they gave it to HATRIUM

i literally didnt think they were the mole at all before this point
