Do all pedophiles deserve death?

Children are seen as the epitome of innocence which is why we get so upset at the thought of harm ever coming to them.

Pedophiles are seen as potential dangers to children, which is why they are seen as one of the most disgusting and hated people on the planet.

But I believe there is a fine line between active predators, and people who realize this is a sick mental disorder and seek help for it.

I think it's too late for offending pedophiles, but I believe we should treat pedophilia in general as a mental disorder.

i said sexual things to a 16 yr old when i was 20. i dnt think this makes me a pedohpile. sexually irresponsible and emotionally immature, perhaps. i apologised profusely to the girl, and we're on good terms now, this all happened like a year ago. for some reason people can't put this behind them

one thing i find fascinating about online exposure to fetishes is that people are starting to realize that -everyone- is a bit kinky, when presented with the right thing to turn them on.

the idea of a cherubic/baby-like sexual partner is highly idolized in asian culture, for example. in some countries, the high-pitched screech of a woman is supposed to mean she is sexually pliable and succumbing to a strong man. oddly enough, the screech is best matched tonally by a baby's cries.

so yeah. maybe pedophilia is a lot more common to humans than we might think, but when we dont have cherubic, innocent, baby-like faces on our sexual partners, those among us with the worst affliction to the fetish will sadly succumb to behavior they likely know is unconscionable.

there are also people who intentionally commit evil acts - but i don't think that's everyone.

if we gauge pedophilia in the light of bestiality or r@pe fantasies taken too far, i think we begin to understand that the fetishes are on a spectrum and sadly, sometimes that means real criminal behavior occurring almost automatically through the repression of that socially unacceptable yet animalistic urge
