I don't understand if something deserved a forum suspension, but not an HC violation you need to re-evaluate what hateful comments actually is. I think we've gone through this multiple times before. A user being specifically hateful towards a certain group doesn't receive HC; god forbid he used a word that didn't even remotely implicate the group which is when he gets a violation?
I am not saying dont ban him. But could you please give him a vio too? If he did something which was too much against the rules then he should get a vio too. And if he didnt break any rule then no matter whose mom he fukd u have no right to suspend him. It is just blatant misuse of suspension keys. It does not matter if i wasnt there. But the epicmafia rules were there. How do you expect the users to follow the rules if the mods break the most basic rules.
Do you see how the floodgates have been opened ever since the last time it was done. Grow up. Learn to follow the rules instead of bringing in your personal bias.

I wasn't online when firecape was suspended so i don't know what was said but its not unreasonable to forum ban him for 24 hours without giving him a violation.
Yes it is. Because applying vios is not hard. A mod is expected to work hard. Filing a report is the most basic of the job. And so is applying the vio.
MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS ENTIRE CONVERSATION RIGHT NOW IS THAT I AM NOT FUKING ASKING THE MODS TO GO AND UNDO WHAT THEY DID OR ASKING THEM TO STEP DOWN. I AM FUKING ASKING THEM TO AT LEAST FUKING FILE A REPORT A GIVE A VIO RIGHT NOW. SO HE GETS A PROPER FUKING DOCUMENTATION AND AN UNBAN DATE. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK. comment delete with a pm was probably the best course of action and arguing against that is kinda silly
situation got escalated since another user was constantly posting stuff that was deemed bad enough to be deleted/etc and given a forum suspension and they used that as a warning to other users not to follow the same path
given that context, yes, firecape being suspended was probably a little harsh (i cant remember what he said), but its not unreasonable if a mod wanted to fix the situation without applying violations
If only we had a proper report and documentation system to stop people from breaking rules. Then we wont have to break rules ourselves and start controversies and have time to do constructive stuff.

I'm not disagreeing with you because frankly i have no idea who or what you are both speaking about i just want to point out that the mod chat being on discord now makes everything 10x easier so that we don't have to "search through thousands of mod actions" or have random mod forums.
