WEEK 12 Head of Household Competition

As time passes, your memories have slowly faded away. Sixteen houseguests have entered the house and eleven have walked out. Only the five of you are left. A utopia with your win has not yet been achieved - for now, you must go through with the delirium of another competition. The adventures in this household are all growing to be a blur. You confuse actual events with figments of your imagination. You must now put your memory to good use if you fancy Head of Household.

This competition is called Before or After.

I will announce the first round and then post a series of dots afterwards. I will then post a question. You will have to go to your Diary Room and answer with BEFORE or AFTER.

The question will give you the first event and then the second event. You will have to identify if the first event occurred before or after the second event. For example:

Did the houseguests enter the house BEFORE or AFTER Kori was evicted?
The answer would be BEFORE.

Whether or not you’re correct will not be revealed and we will continue to the next question after you answer.

The houseguests with the most points in the competition will win Head of Household. In the event of a tie, the houseguests in the tie will have to answer a tiebreaker question.

This competition is called EMBB Math. Each round, we will ask you a question regarding this season in mathematical terms. For example:

[The # of players currently in the game] + [the # of EMBB seasons]
You would first figure out that it’s 6 + 8, then answer 14.

Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division all could be used in this competition. No other math properties/operations will be used.

You will answer the question in the main chat, and the first person to answer correctly will earn a point. You are only allowed one guess per round. If no one has answered correctly within 1 minute, then no one gets the point and we will move on to the next question.

The houseguest with the most points after 12 questions will win the Power of Veto. They will then have 5-10 minutes to decide what to do with it. In the event of a tie, we will have a tiebreaker question.

Head of Household Competition

In the instant eviction, anything can happen, no one is safe. There are people pointing arrows in every direction in the hopes that one of their shots gets a bullseye. Can you find your way to safety despite the barrage of arrows?

HoH Competition: Safe Spot

This competition will test your ability to visualize paths and see if you can find safety before it’s too late. You will be shown a board and you’ll have to call out a safe spot as fast as possible.

Here is an example of a board:

https://prnt.sc/jlmq16

Here, we can see that A2 and C2 are the only safe squares, every other square is in the way of one of the arrows. Arrows don’t block each other and they extend all the way till the end of the board. The square in which the arrows reside in DO NOT count as safe squares.

The game will work like musical chairs. Once you call out a safe square in the main chat, it’s yours. You are safe and move on to the next round, while the rest of the players have to find another one. If you call out a square that isn’t safe, then you are automatically out while the rest of the players move on to the next round. If you call out a safe square that has already been claimed, you won’t be penalized, but you will have to look for another one.

To call out a square, simply name it, such as A1, B3, H10, etc. These are 11x11 boards,
and A → K is left to right while 1 → 11 is top to bottom.

The last person standing wins.

Nothing is ever as it seems in Wonderland, and this is true even with your sense of time. You start to see your landscape swirl around you, everything’s getting distorted. You feel yourself getting propelled forward, at an incredible speed. As you navigate through the time warp, you notice a mouse having fun with his magic and it’s creating chaos all around you. You see a star far away, but you know you’ll reach it soon. It reminds you of the star that Kirby likes to ride on. There’s only room for five people, one at each extremity of the star, and you realize that another one of you is about to be evicted shortly. What you’re about to go through is a week like no other.

Welcome everyone, to Fantasia’s Week. Mickey Mouse’s magic has a mind of its own and went haywire! Everyone is in danger. In less than an hour, six will become five. The competitions will be live, and the decisions will have to be made in 6 minutes or less.
Your HoH competition will be announced shortly.

WEEK 10 Power of Veto Ceremony

Kori walks in with the Power of Veto around their neck.

Kori: Welcome to the Power of Veto ceremony. Ryan has nominated Matt and I for eviction. As Power of Veto holder, I have the ability to veto one of these nominations. I have chosen…

Kori: To use the Power of Veto on myself.

Kori: Well, I certainly didn't think I'd win POV, to be honest I thought this was the end of me. Ryan I hope your happy with your decision, because I can tell you that after this week... https://i.imgur.com/1MvnPXM.gif

I'm sorry to Matt and whoever else is renominated, bad luck on your part since I'm sure you would have been assured safety had I not won POV but now things are likely up in the air. I wish everyone luck, and I hope Ryan is on the block next week so this "rivalry" can come to an end.

Kori: Ryan, as I have vetoed one of your nominations, you must now select a replacement nominee.

Ryan: I have chosen to renominate…

Ryan: Emily

Ryan: Emily I’m sorry to have to nominate you, especially when you didn’t have a chance to play in the Veto competition https://imgur.com/a/GMOJBf1 but sometimes this game is ugly.

Kori: This veto ceremony is adjourned

The final nominees are Emily and Matt. The house must vote to evict between them as well as submit goodbye messages for both by 8:00 PM EDT tomorrow. Ryan, as HoH, you must submit an eviction vote in the event of a tie, and send goodbye messages for both nominees. Nominees must send a goodbye message for the other nominee.

WEEK 10 Power of Veto Competition - Lock-n-Roll

As you walk out into the backyard, you await for your next Power of Veto competition. Of all the bizarre occurrences this season, you’re puzzled trying to think of what’s next. Suddenly, the colorful rocks from the Head of Household competition reappear, and you realize once again they’re just dice. Fooled once again! These dice aren’t gone just yet - their alluring presence will once again be seen in this Power of Veto competition.

Lock-n-Roll is a puzzle game requiring luck and skill. You will roll four dice at a time and arrange them on a 4×4 grid. You will then receive points for various combinations according to number and color.

You must place all four dice on the grid before you may roll again, and once you lock them down, they are fixed in place. The most difficult combinations (only 4 types) are cleared from the board.

If you earn enough points, you can be rewarded with a Joker. The joker may be placed anywhere to complete a combination, including on top of a locked die. The first Joker is awarded after 250 points have been earned. The cost of additional Jokers increases by 250 points up to a maximum of 1500 points to earn a new Joker. Despite this, each Joker deducts 25% from the point value of a combination.

The game keeps going until there are no more places for dice.

To know what combinations will earn you points, click the Info button on the bottom right and then Rules & Tips. If you wish to reset, you also have to click the Info button and then hit Reset.

The houseguest with the highest score will win the Power of Veto.

WEEK 10 Nomination Ceremony

Ryan: This means I have nominated Kori and Matt for eviction.

Ryan: Y’all don’t know how good it feels to be in power again https://imgur.com/a/4vtvFAN It is perfect timing too ^-^ because I feel like I’m the only person in this game at this time willing to do what is being done this week.

Kori, as much as you try to drill into everyone’s mind that you have not been playing a good game, the fact remains that you have been a power player since the first few weeks of this game. You’ve had deals and alliances that stretch throughout the whole house and week by week you manage to slide by unscathed. This week though, that will not be the case. https://imgur.com/a/jqTudmg

Matt, I reached out to you with an olive branch after Anthony was evicted and jury was beginning, but you weren’t very receptive of it. I understood wanting to flush my grail and I don’t hold it against you, but even after that you went on to me about various things and it was clear to me I don’t fit into your game plan. So, while I did take into consideration everything you said in the HoH room, I feel our game relationship isn’t the strongest and you have warranted a spot on the block this week.

https://imgur.com/a/b2LsX3N I wish you both the bare minimum of luck in the PoV comp <3

Ryan: This nomination ceremony is adjourned.

This is colour yahtzee so there will be more scoring options than the example provided above. Each dice face can be one of 5 different colours. (Once you score in a category, you won’t be able to score in there again, so make it count.) Even if you haven’t rolled 3 times in a round, you can immediately stop and score if you’d like. Finally, the game ends when every category has been filled. The player with the most points wins Head of Household!

Each of you will be provided with a scoring sheet so you can familiarize yourself with the possible combinations and how the dice work.

This competition is semi-live, so message a host when you are ready to play. You also don’t have to do it all in a single sitting.

Once all players have done all their rounds, the player with the most points wins. You must start your game before 8PM EST tomorrow.

If you have any questions or need another example, you may ask in your confessional chat or the house chat.

WEEK 10 Head of Household Competition - Color Yahtzee

You start to hear a cascade of rocks flowing by from every direction. You look around, as these colourful rocks are starting to decorate your surroundings. As you take a closer look, you realize that these are not rocks, but they are dice. Small dice, big dice, and you know they will come into play with this week’s HoH Competition.

To win Colour Yahtzee, you need a combination of luck and skill. The rules are the same as in regular Yahtzee, but the colours give you additional options.

Each round consists of 3 rolls, and then a score. You begin a round by rolling 5 dice, and then you decide which to keep and which to re-roll. After your third roll, you must score somewhere by using what the dice has offered you.

EXAMPLE OF A ROUND:

First roll: 5-4-2-5-6
Player keeps the 5s and rolls again.

Second roll: [5-5] 4-3-1
Player decides to keep 5-4-3 this time

Third roll: [5-4-3] 6-6
Here is what the player is left with: 3-4-5-6-6

The player must score something with that combination. Here, we see the small straight being completed, and choosing this option would yield 30 points. The player can also opt to score in the 6s. There’s two sixes, so 6+6 = 12 points. They could also use the “chance” score, which adds all the dice regardless of the combinations, so 24 points. You could even score in ‘large straight’ if you please, but since the condition wasn’t met, it would give zero points.
