My 8th and final violation came from spamming multiple 2 player games. I do acknowledge that this is wrong and promptly got a full vio from it, thus causing my ban. However, in this report https://epicmafia.com/report/244971 someone (who later turns out to be a banned user) is given a note. I have no history of erb before this, therefore in order for this to be justified, i should get a note as well. Does anyone else agree?
We blacklisted a pointfarm during that setup being hosted. There's a difference between imbalanced and blatant pointfarm

i don't think anybody has mentioned yet the violation itself doesn't make any sense. how can the vio be "encouraging rule breaking" if no rule is being broken in the first place. and if it is point it out in the rulebook cos i don't see it.
also how can users be expected not to play in pointfarm setups when the mods were literally doing just that barely a few days ago. e.g https://epicmafia.com/game/6494933/review
I'm sure there are conflicting opinions all around and I don't really feel ridiculously strong about this report so whatever happens is ok with me, cuz even if precedent for pointfarming gets screwed, they always end in a refund anyway
i don't even think like that, but not sure why a full out vio for him hosting pointfarms was necessary
if you didn't catch him in the act and couldnt warn him as it was going on, oh well. give him an official warning moving forward and if he continues it, then thats on him and its a lot harder for other users to argue that he should be given leeway when he was clearly warned about the act
also its been said a million times but gamethrowing really needs to be moderated for INTENT like it says
mods shouldn't really be able to dictate what strategies a user uses and blah blah
giving a user a gamethrowing vio because you feel like its a action that doesn't help town in more cases than not shouldn't matter. if you think the user is DOING the strat with intent to lose, then thats a different story
same principle basically falls for what (probably wrongfully but w/e) essa got banned for
sorry soda i think bsm feels the vio is justified because he warned you to "be careful since you have 7 vios" so he constitutes that as a warning enough for you to not host pointfarms since "you know better"
just slap him a note and tell him not to be dumb and host pointfarms
also, still not sure why mods think its okay that a 8 vio ban can net you a longer ban when the idea was clearly that the max amount of time a user should be banned was 3 months
probably because the website is a toxic cesspool that only a. A good Samaritan or in Nathan's case b. A giant circle jerker would accumulate the administrator role for.

You know sachy was a fantastic admin in her prime, i bet my house that there's just outstanding circumstances preventing her from doing a good job this go-around

That's upsetting to hear, hopefully he gets those demons figured out.
Also, the mods preach consistency and fairness and have shown everything but that. There has to be a new admin or another one that'll stay engaged with the community and the mod team
