Nah m8, I love the song and think it's fair to consider it Rock, I say go for it. I just want to know if I'm shooting myself in the foot by picking a song like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxPsXPCR5MU Or if I will be judged fairly.
Alright well it seems that my choice of song was a bit more contentious than I anticipated so if the hosts/judges would like me to do something else I'm more than willing to, just let me know.

This brings a question I'd like to have addressed by the honorable supreme court of singing judges. I love Neutral Milk Hotel, but Jeff Mangum is arguably a bad singer. How would we be rated when performing a song that's originally poorly sung, if attempting to stick to the original performance?
Just went ahead and knocked this out today so I'm not late when I forget about it. I did Two-Headed Boy Part 2 for my audition so hey, why not do Part 1 for the first round? Hopefully indie rock is good enough to meet the criteria of "rock".
