another way to look at the meteor rule is that its essentially there for balance reasons
meteor creates a situation where maf have to kill but doc still SHOULD be saving, and the rule is there to balance out that situation so maf do not get a free kill on a clear that the doc has been saving prior to meteor night
its not a perfect remedy, and in your situation the doc would likely get gamethrow for 'forcing' meteor. whoever doc continued to save throughout the previous nights is who the doc chose to save for meteor night. if they wanted to make sure one of their tr's or doc saves from before made it through the night, then they should've been on them one of the previous nights and let their other save die
That is absolutely not why the meteor is in place. I thought you were a veteran, but you are absolutely stupid.
oh, just to clarify when i said meteor rule i meant the rule regarding docs on meteor, not the actual meteor itself

ban caroler from competitive. all caroler setups are randomfest
traitor doing that faces a similar problem as doc jointing with yak back when doc could save yak in DLYV. playing to a future wincon is questionable and is in a grey area tbh

I thought it was a rule that a player must play to their win condition. I believe if for example maf whispers Turncoat they found him and will turn him he is allowed to out them as he is town and must only play against Town after he was changed. Similiar things happen in Reverse Mafia which thankfully is not comped as I see Traitors / fool asking to be masoned. If only most players knew this I think Mikado's setup would be fine in comp.
imo, getting contacted by maf and being turned intentionally to win with them isn't against their win con

it's my favourite since i can't comp teo
i think i love you
Q: would TEO work if we replaced guiser with someone else? Because at this point guiser does feel like another nilla

I'm enjoying people complaining about me comping a turncoat setup.
I'm enjoying it too much. It's fun because it's an actual balanced setup, but with the difference that one role real gets the real power. And can tip the balance to one side or the another (if they havent been hit). And I love how people are absolutely terrified of that.
people aren’t necessarily terrified, the objections are stemming from the fact that setups that could lead to a potential kingmaker situation of any kind aren’t allowed in competitive.
mikado's setup with turncoat is fun for red hearts but unable to be on comp because there are possible scenarios where a player can choose wether or not a certain player can win
No, the traitor setup you picked is a town point farm. The only reason it's even remotely mafsided is because a bunch of friends keep playing it and keep deciding to play suboptimally.
Cop whispering inno d1 almost always results in a town win.

I directly multiaccounted with someone this round bc they gave me their password, and their IP address is somewhere in America, so I was able to play on my phone and my PC at the same time, without the "sharing same IP address, must be whitelisted"
Alt checks are a joke, there's so many ways to slip pass them. VPN's, unlinked alt, etc.
The coding for this site is bad and I honestly doubt lucid really cares anymore otherwise he'd fix it or get someone else too. Charley claims that even if she had a stupid password like "safsdhdsadh safahdas" she'd still have gotten hacked.
Luke is able to just come out of nowhere and exploit the site to steal trophies.
Two rounds ago I found a bug that I reported to the mods where if you logged on an unlinked alt using incog you could join the same ranked AND comp games. No idea if it ever got fixed or ever will.
Maybe it's because I'm not comfortable w/ so many sudden changes happening at once but I find myself viewing this site as more of a sinking ship every day.
